The best My absolute favorite place to eat in Baton Rouge is Chelsea's located underneath the Perkins overpass. In my opinion, it is overlooked as a great restaurant and only seen for the amazing acts that it brings late at night. If you live here and have not been,
you haven't lived you are seriously missing out.
However, if you want good food with an AMAZING view of the Baton Rouge skyline, I'd go get sushi at Tsunami downtown (as seen above.) This is where the Twilight crew went out every Tuesday night while filming in town.

As for being in my mid-twenties and needing a place to go out at night with friends...my favorite hole-in-the-wall bar is
Ivars also under the perkins overpass. Very laid back and kind of like the Tigerland for the mid-20's and early-30's crowd.
I'm not much of a shopper I actually hate to shop unless I know exactly what I want or have a ton of money to spend (which won't be for a while because I just started back at
LSU) but if I do need to go shopping, I can always find something at boutiques around my house...and since I'm shopping on a budget right now, I
love LOVEEEEE shopping @ Target, Forever 21 (even if I can only go once a month because the amount of clothes and music makes me want to vomit), and the Dillards at the Mall of Cortana (even if you have to dig)...they recently turned this Dillards into a last season, up to 80% off the designer superstore. I got a pair of Sperry's (normally $75-$79 anywhere else) for just $35!!
